What We Do
“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”
-Winston Churchill
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance the physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being of our participants, foster a sense of inclusion and belonging, and promote the overall quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.
At Stars and Strides, we want to empower individuals of all abilities through the transformative connection between humans and horses. A family owned and operated program, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where people can experience the physical, emotional and psychological benefits of therapeutic riding. With the support of our skilled staff, our volunteers and our gentle equine partners, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our participants, fostering independence, self-confidence, and a sense of well-being. Additionally, we take our responsibility as a 501c3 organization seriously, and we are committed to serving all community members regardless of disability or socioeconomic status. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our riders and their families, ensuring that they reach their full potential and discover the boundless possibilities that arise from their partnership with Stars and Strides!
“Nothing compares to the therapy a horse can give.
